June is here. Bedford ave. is teaming. You can't get off the L train without bumping into at least three people. Pink Berry's back open. But since they were closed down by the health department, I just can't bear to go back in there. Same with the Rabbit Hole. Anyway let's Put the Pedal to the Metal and celebrate June.

It's All In The Stars
TO ALL YOU GEMINI MEN OUT THERE......
Working the room with edgy enthusiam--shaking hands, kissing cheeks, polishing connections, generally running the show--is Gemini's usual role in a social setting. Just as he is famous for organizing outings with friends and colleagues, he is continually calling meetings in the workplace, perpetually aghast when associates don't work at his quicksilver pace. Professionally, too, he'll have his pack, a coterie of insiders whom he handpicks, hot shots who will follow his self-styled example and function in the same free wheeling way. Typically he plays the ultraslick and flashy urbanite. Sometimes he espouses a gritty inner-city chic, or when an artist or musician, he'll fully embrace the feeling of the street, adopting the look of the workingman with whom he intrinsically identifies. A list of famous Gemini men: Errol Flynn, Johnny Depp, Mark Wahlberg, Noah Wyle, Mike Meyers, Donald Trump and Lenny Kravitz.
NEXT WEEK: GEMINI WOMAN
TALK ABOUT OUT OF FASHION
Let's go to the movies...w/ Jimmy Cage
"Dancing with the Stars" bills itself as an evening of entertainment for the whole family.
Really????
This is my weekly movie review deal with it.
Sex and the City 2.
In the 90's prissy woman walking around Manhattan in thousand dollar shoes and ten thousand dollar handbags was fun. It's 2010. My roomate just got laid off. The unemployment rate in this country hasn't been as high since the great depression. Millions of Americans are drowning in debt and struggling to keep there families afloat. I have two words for SJP --F**k U!
I DON'T UNDERSTAND. DO YOU?
I Understand the Need To Build a Mosque. I understand the right to freedom of religion, expression, and free speech.
But of all the Valuable Real Estate in the 5 buroughs, Why does the Mosque have to be built just feet from Ground Zero?
With all the pain attached to ground zero, with all the New Yorkers who lost their lives and their loved ones that September day, Is building a mosque within a stones throw the best way for us to bridge the gap?
Just a question.

THE ART OF THE SCAM
I saw these things in the newspaper and well they just blow my mind.
Smoking babies, female viagra, drug lords in Jamaica. However,
I think the most asinine being the MTA working who got in a dispute with a passenger and the passenger spit on her. This was awful. I get that. But to then take six months of paid leave because you are so tramatized by the event.
COME ON.
The New York City Police Department don't recognize being spat upon as an assault so Why should the MTA's Union? Most MTA employees have been responsible when this happens. They go home shower and usually take the next day or two off (with paid leave of course). But this lady took six months.
She is this weeks "Biggest Scammer".
Next week:
THE CRAIGSLIST CASTING COUCH.
---MCS
The best liar is he who makes the smallest amount of lying go the longest way.
--Samuel Butler.
Funny Thought.
I've read stories about how the Germans had to return priceless works of art and financial gain that they took from the Jews during the war. I have heard people say that White Americans should pay reperations to the children of slaves.
I don't quite know my opinion on that matter but what I do know is that it is wrong to profit off someone else.
But what about the times when we take advantage of each other in less violent ways to profit? Maybe Oprah should give back some of the money she has made over the years selling weightloss produts, books and excerise videos. Just a thought.

WITH SO MANY IMAGES MOVIES AND TV SHOWS ABOUT SUPERHEROS AND VAMPIRES OUT THERE I FINALLY FOUND A HERO I CAN BELIEVE IN. RIGHT ON THE CORNER OF BEDFORD AND GRAND.
The Masks we wear as faces and the faces we wear as masks.
The Worst Natural disaster in U.S. History?
Is this Obama's Katrina?
Is it me or has he had a little too much botox lately?
If someones face doesn't move how can we tell when they are being sincere?
My minister just had his eyes done. Now he always looks like he's surprised by the Gospel.
--Bradley Tanner -- comic.
GIVE A MAN A MASK AND HE WILL TELL YOU THE TRUTH.
--OSCAS WILDE.
THE MCS/MCS RECOMMENDATION.
I had the priviledge last week of seeing a really hot show. It's one of those art things that reminds you why you live in New York City. I happened by the Joyce theater in Chelsea and saw a sign that said, "Momix". I didn't know what the show would be like only that it was dance. But I bought a ticket anyway. HOT! Sexy! AMAZING!
The night I went it was the Momix "re-mix. Momix is a company of dancer-illusionists under the direction of Moses Pendleton. The re-mix was a compilation of some of the companies most successful work. I'm not sure if it is still playing but if so.. see it. And if not google it. It's worth the time.
Next Week: GRAHAM NICKSON--Extraordinary Artist.
So that's it.
NOw that you've read my blog Foresake the computer. Enjoy the sun.
Stop by the Garden on Wythe and South Second and smell the roses.
But most importantly the next time you are walking down Bedford Ave keep looking for the art, the fashion, and the stars in things cause believe me. It's all out there. Especially in Williamsburg.
